My son Auston also races in the pure stock div. in a 78' Monte Carlo. My son Jason runs an 11.0 sec. full roller motor Camaro on the 1/4 ml. strip. My daughter Katlynn races a Trick Olympic go kart in the purple plate div. on a 1/8 ml. oval.
We are a very race and family oriented family and my wife Kelly stands behind all of us, keeping things going behind the scenes.
The 2008 racing season was a had a great start to it, but midway through season I broke my arm in two places and from July 4th on I was out for the rest of the 2008 season, but I did finish 19th in points out of 72 competitors in the UMP Sportsman div. Not to bad for 1/2 a season I guess. LOL. Our home tracks are Twin Cities Raceway in Vernon, IN(UMP Purestock, & Sportsman), Union County Speedway(UMP Sportsman), Lawrenceburg Speedway(UMP PureStock), Moler Raceway Park, and Florence Speedway in Florence, KY.
Union Co. will be the primary track in 09' for my UMP Sportsman on Friday nights, and Twin Cities Raceway Park on Saturday nights.
Lawrenceburg Speedway will be primary track for Pure Stock in 09' but with their limited schedule will also be at Twin Cities, Florence, and Moler.
I work as a maintenance technician and do all of the prep work, engine work, and repairs on all of our racing teams. I am my own crew and the crew cheif for all my kids. All of our racing budget is all out of pocket expence and with no sponcers takes a large toll on our family budget. Any sponsorship oppertunities would be greatly appreciated. Any help is greatly appreciated.
If you would like to get onboard as one of our sponsors for the 09' season you can contact me @812-221-0702, or email me at DKRacing23@yahoo.com
